In the 1990s, with the incorporation of Marcos Cló, engineer and second son of the founder, CZM saw the opportunity to internationalize. In 1992, it exported its first machine to Uruguay with the label MADE IN BRAZIL, a source of pride for the company. Exports continued, first to neighboring countries, then to several in Asia, and today to more than 27 countries worldwide.
At the beginning of the 2000s, the company made a major investment and established its current headquarters in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte. Following this expansion, two others took place: the construction of a specialized boiler-making branch in the city of Ravenna, Italy, and a new factory in Savannah, USA, establishing the company CZM-USA.
